Simon King

Non Executive Director at Trafi

Simon King has worked in a variety of roles across a number of companies since 2010. In 2011, they were a Site Manager for The Sabre Charitable Trust. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, researching into novel nanostructured organic photovoltaics. In 2012, they became a Partner in the Ventures Team at Octopus Ventures, helping to change the world. In 2014, they became a Non Executive Director at Origami Energy, SmartKem Limited, and Surrey NanoSystems Ltd. In 2015, they became a Non Executive Director at TRAFI. Finally, in 2016, they became a Non Executive Director at WaveOptics, which was acquired by Snap in 2021.

Simon King's education history includes a PhD in Solar Energy/Plastic Electronics from Imperial College London, which they completed between 2006 and 2010.
