Jeannette Montufar, PhD, PEng, PTOE, RSP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeannette Montufar, is the Founding Partner and CEO of MORR Transportation Consulting Ltd., a role they have held since September 2016. Prior to that, they co-founded TRAINFO Corp. in October 2016. Previously, Dr. Montufar worked at the University of Manitoba as a Professor from April 2003 to September 2016. In 2011, they served as a Visiting Professor at the Universidad de Costa Rica. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Principal of Montufar Group Transportation Consulting, and from 1997 to 2009, they held the same position at Montufar & Associates Transportation Consulting. Additionally, they have gained research experience through their roles as a Research Associate at the University of Michigan from August 1999 to January 2000, as well as at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute from August 1997 to September 1998. Jeannette Montufar, began their career as an Engineering Intern at Battelle in August 1995.

Jeannette Montufar, PhD, PEng, PTOE, RSP has an impressive education history focused primarily on transportation and highway engineering. Jeannette Montufar, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Manitoba from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Transportation Engineering at the same institution from 1994 to 1996. Their undergraduate studies were also conducted at the University of Manitoba, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their academic achievements, Montufar has acquired several certifications to further enhance their knowledge and expertise. Jeannette Montufar, obtained a certification in Financial Management from Cornell University in July 2020. Jeannette Montufar, also completed a certification in Human Resource Management from the Red River College in 2020. Additionally, Montufar has earned the designation of Road Safety Professional from the Institute of Transportation Engineers in January 2019. Furthermore, in October 2011, they became a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certified by the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
