Randy Collard

Randy Collard has had extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Randy served as the Board Chair and CFO at TraitWare since 2019. Prior to that, they retired in 2015 but continued their board membership at TraitWare. During their time at Amgen, Randy held several executive positions, including Executive Director of Enterprise Program Delivery, Strategy, and IS Technical Services, where they were responsible for delivering Amgen's IS 2022 Strategy and implementing a new operating model. Randy also led the delivery of major vendor contracts and transition programs, resulting in cost savings and performance improvements. Randy's other roles at Amgen included Executive Director of Enterprise Infrastructure, Programs, Strategy, and Cross-Technology Architecture, and Executive Director of R&D Informatics, overseeing IT operations for Amgen's R&D sites, libraries, benchtop, and validation. Before joining Amgen, Randy worked at The Dow Chemical Company, where they held roles such as Global R&D Director for Material Sciences & Information Research and Global R&D Director for Research IS and Libraries.

Randy Collard obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Trinity University between the years 1969 and 1973. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Chemistry from Louisiana State University, completing their studies from 1973 to 1978. In 1996, Randy Collard expanded their education by attending the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, where they obtained an Executive Education degree in Business.
