Sheikh Nooruddin

Software Engineer at Trajekt Sports

Sheikh Nooruddin has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and data science. Sheikh began their career as a Data Scientist at Red.Digital Limited in 2020, where they developed a traffic surveillance system and implemented Convolutional Neural Network models for license plate detection and recognition. Sheikh also acted as a liaison between the development team and government legislators. In 2021, they joined the University of Waterloo as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they designed a two-stream CNN for efficient Human Activity Recognition and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. At Trajekt Sports, starting in 2023, they work as a Firmware Engineer in Machine Learning, responsible for code deployment on pitching robots, managing ongoing machine learning projects, and architecting live camera feed previews.

Sheikh Nooruddin completed their education history as follows:

From 2021 to 2023, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Waterloo.

Between 2016 and 2020, they attended Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Sheikh Nooruddin obtained multiple certifications in various areas related to artificial intelligence and deep learning. These certifications include:

- "AI for Medical Diagnosis" from DeepLearning.AI, obtained in November 2020.

- "Traffic Sign Classification Using Deep Learning in Python/Keras" from Coursera, obtained in August 2020.
