David Neuman

President, European Operations at Trammell Crow Company

David Neuman is President of European Operations for Trammell Crow Company. In this role, David has direct oversight of the firm’s European development businesses, including Telford Homes and European Logistics. He is responsible for identifying new opportunities to expand TCC’s development business into other product types throughout Europe. David is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and is based in London.

Prior to being promoted to President of European Operations in January 2022, David was a Managing Director in the firm’s Washington D.C. office. He was responsible for the sourcing, structuring, and management of new developments and acquisitions through all phases of the development process including feasibility, concept planning, entitlement, design, financing, construction, leasing, and monetization.

Since 2006, David has developed 8.8 million square feet of office, healthcare, multifamily, and industrial real estate in the Washington, D.C. metro area representing more than $1.5 billion in combined development costs. He has over 20 years of business experience with a focus on assessing and solving complex economic and financial issues. David has particular expertise in the financial engineering, capital structuring and feasibility analysis of complicated transactions.

During his tenure with TCC’s MidAtlantic team, David managed the development of numerous high profile projects including: K2M Global Headquarters, a build-to-suit for a medical device company in Loudoun County, VA; Sentinel Square, two office buildings in the NoMa submarket of DC totaling 700,000 SF; 3400 Pennsy Drive, a 360,000 SF industrial building in Landover, MD converted to a highly customized workshop and storage facility leased to the Smithsonian Institute; Franklin Center, a 201,000 SF office building in Columbia, MD leased to a large defense contractor; I-81 Industrial Center, a 1.2 msf warehouse in Hagerstown, MD leased to a large ecommerce tenant; North East Gateway, a 716,000 sf distribution center leased to a clothing company in North East, MD; BW Gateway, a 289,000 sf warehouse converted to biomanufacturing space for a large life sciences company; and Capital Electric’s new headquarters, a 363,000 sf warehouse and office build-to-suit in Upper Marlboro, MD.
