Karen Guerrero

Karen Guerrero has worked in various roles in the design and UX/UI fields since 2013. Karen began as a Freelance Graphic Designer for EMPIRE SIGNS INDUSTRY LLC, where they designed corporate branding for medium-sized companies. Karen then worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Imaginamos and NeuroPsy, where they designed UI/UX design for mobile apps and books on neuropsychopedagogy, respectively. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Head of Design/Graphic Designer for Grupo Arve, UX Visual Designer for Bizagi, Senior UX Designer Consultant for Multiplica, and UR Researcher & Designer for Peiky. Most recently, they have been working as a Product Designer Lead for Tranqui Finanzas since 2022. In this role, they have been responsible for diagnosis, design, leadership, and management of the service/product strategy, planning, CX UX research, design, and implementation of optimizations that allow the organization to identify its business objectives and connect more and more with the user's needs.

Karen Guerrero has a Master in User Experience Design from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet (2016-2021). Karen also obtained a Planeación estratégica from Universidad de La Sabana in 2022. In 2016, they obtained a HTML5 FRONT-END Specialist from Cymetria Training. In 2014, they obtained a Design and development of videogames EGAMES, Design of videogames and interactive content from Universidad de Los Andes and a Digital Illustration and Graphic Design Elements from United International College. Additionally, they obtained a Graphic designer from Universidad Antonio Nariño in 2010-2014. In 2023, they obtained 21st Century Design with Don Norman from The Interaction Design Foundation, Certificate Of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation, and Exclusive: Design for a Better World, a Discussion with Don Norman from The Interaction Design Foundation. In 2022, they obtained B2 Upper intermediate from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) and Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
