Izak Marais

Izak Marais is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in high voltage overhead transmission line projects. Currently serving as a Site Representative at Trans-Africa Projects since September 2017, Izak monitors and reports on construction quality, timelines, and costs for the Silimela - Manogeng 400Kv project. Previously, Izak worked as an Eskom Site Representative at Thabile Engineering, overseeing the construction of the Upington - Nieuwehoop 400Kv line, and as a Construction Supervisor at M.A.M. Projects, managing operations for transmission lines ranging from 132KV to 765KV. Educational accomplishments include attendance at Kuswag High School and ongoing studies at Umbilo FET since 2012.
