Kuben Pillay

Kuben held various executive positions within Primedia Limited from September 2002 to February 2014, including serving as CEO of the advertising division, group CEO, and thereafter group executive chairman. From February 2014 to December 2016, he served in the capacity of non- executive chairman of Primedia Limited. An attorney by profession, Kuben was a managing financial partner at attorneys Cheadle Thompson and Haysom before joining Mineworkers Investment Company Proprietary Limited in 1996 as a founding executive director, and later as the non-executive chairman of Mineworkers Investment Company. Kuben currently serves as a non-executive director of the OUTsurance group of companies, Sabvest Limited and Net1 U.E.P.S. Technologies Inc.
