Shanon Leggo

Shanon Leggo is a versatile professional with extensive experience in environmental management and operations planning, currently serving as the Hydro Operations Planning Manager at TransAlta since August 2017. Previous roles at TransAlta include Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Manager, Environment, Health, Safety and Reclamation Centre Manager, Environment, Health and Safety Manager, and Environmental Supervisor. Shanon has also contributed as a Skating Coach at Tri Area Skating Club since September 2012 and held various supervisory positions at ATCO Electric from September 2012 to July 2017, focusing on environmental planning and project supervision. Additionally, Shanon worked as a Senior Project Manager and Wildlife Biologist at Golder Associates from April 2004 to August 2012. Shanon holds a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Wildlife Biology from the University of Alberta, earned between 2000 and 2004.
