Sameer Paul

Sameer Paul has a diverse work experience in the HVAC industry spanning over two decades. Sameer is currently the Head of Business - HVAC at Transcom Electronics Limited, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Zonal Head for North & East India for the System Air conditioning Division at LG India from February 2019 to October 2021.

Sameer also served as the Country Manager at Leminar Air Conditioning Company LLC in 2018. Sameer has also held various roles at UTC Climate, Controls & Security, including Deputy General Manager from April 2014 to April 2018 and Divisional Manager from February 2011 to March 2014.

Earlier in their career, Sameer held positions such as Zonal Head East - Product Sales at Voltas Limited - A Tata Enterprise from March 2008 to February 2011, Manager Sales at Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies from December 2006 to March 2008, and Sales Manager at Carrier Corporation from January 2005 to November 2006.

Sameer's career began as a Senior Sales Engineer at Blue Star Limited in January 2001, and prior to that, they worked as a Field Engineer Mechanical at Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd from January 1998 to December 2000.

Sameer Paul completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Before that, they had completed their Higher Secondary education at Model Sr Sec School Port Blair, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from 1991 to 1993. Sameer Paul's academic journey began with their High School Certificate in Physics from Carmel High School Port Blair, which they obtained from 1980 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Sameer Paul has also obtained several certifications, including "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" from LG India in March 2020, "Leading High Performance Teams" from Dale Carnegie Training India in September 2019, "Sales Management Development Programme" from Dale Carnegie Training India in July 2017, and "Bronze Certification for Tata BELP - Business Excellence Leaders Program (year 2010)" from Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG) in January 2010.
