Cynthia Thompson has over 20 years of experience in human resources and benefits administration. Cynthia currently works as the Director of Benefits at TransForce Group since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Benefits Manager at Hilldrup from October 2018 to July 2019. From February 2013 to July 2018, Cynthia was the Benefits Manager at AFSC/Magellan Federal, where they administered employee benefit programs and managed the open enrollment process. Before that, they worked as an HR Generalist at Raffa, PC from December 2011 to February 2013, and as an HR Specialist and Compliance Training Manager at L-3 MPRI from June 2011 to December 2011. Cynthia also has experience as a Human Resources Generalist at ABNB Federal Credit Union from October 2006 to May 2011, and as a Senior Benefit Administrator at EDS/Towers Perrin from October 2004 to November 2005. Cynthia started their career as a Senior Human Resources Administrator at L-3 Communications, where they managed health and welfare plans for 1,600 employees.

Cynthia Thompson SHRM-CP, PHR has a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Strayer University, and an Associate's of Science in Business Administration from Rose State College. Cynthia also holds additional certifications, including Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and SHRM CP from the Society for Human Resource Management.
