Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Transformative Pharmaceutical Solutions

Alessandra Santa-Ana has a diverse work experience starting as a research intern in 2016 and moving up the ranks to become a clinical research coordinator at Transformative Pharmaceutical Solutions in 2023. Alessandra worked at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in 2022 as a Clinical Research Coordinator II and screened and recruited participants for interventional trials and observational studies. Santa-Ana spent the most significant portion of their career at the Moffitt Cancer Center, performing several roles, such as being a Clinical Research Coordinator and playing a lead role in sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Alessandra also coordinated ten or more research studies, including a Moderna COVID vaccine clinical trial, as a Special Projects Research Coordinator. Santa-Ana initiated, educated, consented, and enrolled patients into a center-wide biobanking study while working as a Research Coordinator II. Alessandra performed various duties as a Research Coordinator I and Research Assistant II. Finally, they worked at Lenscrafters in 2016 and served as an Eyewear Consultant.

Alessandra Santa-Ana attended Miami Dade College from 2012-2013 and received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree with a focus on Psychology. Alessandra then attended the University of South Florida from 2014-2016 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In addition to their academic credentials, they obtained a Healthcare Support Specialist (CCC) certification from Hillsborough Community College in May 2022 and a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification from Moffitt Cancer Center in March 2021.
