Alyssa Lee has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Reporter for The Arizona Republic, where they covered local and national business trends. Alyssa then worked as a Copy Editor and Political Writer for The State Press, focusing on editing and creating content related to state and national politics. In 2014, Alyssa joined Gannett as a Wire Editor, where they edited and updated news articles for various newspapers. Alyssa also worked as a Technology Reporter for AZ Tech Beat, covering Arizona's technology industry and startup sector. In 2015, Alyssa was a Marketing and Social Media Intern at SocialWhirled, where they created and managed content for social platforms and coordinated marketing campaigns. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Gannett as a Designer/Copy Editor, responsible for editing wire and meeting deadlines. Alyssa then interned at DDB Berlin and 360i in 2018, gaining experience in creative roles. Alyssa joined Venables Bell and Partners in 2018 as a Junior Art Director, and later became an Art Director. Currently, Alyssa is working at Translation as a Senior Art Director, starting in July 2022.
Alyssa Lee began their education at Cactus Shadows High School, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. After graduating, they attended Arizona State University from 2011 to 2015. At Arizona State University, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During their time there, they also studied Marketing. In 2013, Alyssa briefly attended Korea University, focusing on Marketing. Later, in 2017 to 2018, they attended Miami Ad School (M.AD School) to study Art Direction.
