Douglas Dione

Douglas Dione is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in medical equipment design and energy storage systems. Currently serving as the Director of Electrical Engineering at TransMedics, Inc. since October 2021, Dione previously held senior and managerial roles at Fresenius Medical Care North America, NxStage Medical, Inc., AngioDynamics, NEC Energy Solutions, Boston Scientific, and Haemonetics. Dione's expertise includes designing medical devices for treating peripheral vascular disease, developing high voltage battery systems, and architecting electrical solutions for medical imaging technologies. Dione holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Johnson & Wales University.
