Adam Carnagey

Adam Carnagey has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Adam is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Transmute since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Frontend Developer at the City of Austin from March 2020 to December 2020, where they were responsible for creating a responsive front end website using blockchain technologies. Before that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Trelar from January 2019 to March 2020, developing a mobile and web app for creating a marketplace for moving construction materials.

Adam also has experience as a Senior Software Developer at The Home Depot from November 2017 to January 2019, where they worked on converting the front-end checkout portion of the website from AngularJS to ReactJS/Redux. Adam was an Angular Developer for Medical Devices at Orthogonal from April 2016 to November 2017, where they worked on web and mobile projects using AngularJS and websocket communications.

Adam had also worked as a Lead Developer at Metal Networks from February 2015 to April 2016, architecting an ecommerce website using MySQL and Java Spring. Adam worked as a Software Engineer at Gravitant from June 2014 to January 2015, building a Java Spring JBoss JSP web application stack. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture from August 2011 to June 2014 as a Federal - Java System Developer Senior Analyst, leading outcome-driven releases and providing code coverage using JUnit testing and Jenkins.

Adam started their career as a NOC Analyst at Vendor Safe Technologies from March 2010 to June 2011, troubleshooting internet and firewall problems. Adam also worked as a QA Analyst at A&M Health Science Center from March 2009 to May 2009, performing user interface testing of a medical website.

Adam Carnagey attended Texas A&M University, College from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of Capital Markets Industry Generalist from Accenture in August 2012. Furthermore, in June 2017, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate after completing their certification training at Amazon Web Services.
