Craig McCormick

Craig McCormick possesses extensive experience in the subsea operations and engineering sector, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation at Transocean since March 2006, Craig has held various leadership roles, including Senior Manager of Innovation & New Technology and Subsea Operations Manager Projects. Responsibilities have included managing subsea projects, overseeing recertification processes for the global fleet, and executing significant emergency projects like the Deepwater Expedition's BOP Reliability. Prior to their current role, Craig worked in various engineering and management positions at Transocean and Diamond Offshore, contributing to numerous offshore projects and upgrades, with a strong foundation in subsea equipment design and operations. Craig's educational background includes an HSC from Launceston College, focusing on English, Physics, and Mathematics.
