Laura Pochop

Laura joined TransPak in 2018 as its first Chief of Staff. She has more than 25 years of operating experience in entrepreneurship and scaling growth companies. She launched and owns a specialty market in the East Bay, and has also served as a CFO, COO and CEO in the advertising, automotive and education industries. Laura began her career as a management consultant at Bain & Company, developing strategies for Fortune 500 corporations in the packaged food, paper manufacturing, and airline industries. She has written cases on entrepreneurship for Harvard Business School and Stanford's Graduate School of Business, and has extensive experience in writing business plans for successful startups. Before joining TransPak, Laura was a Partner at EMA Partners, a boutique investment banking firm providing mergers and acquisition advice to CEOs and owners of middle-market companies. She holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Economics from Brown University.
