Alexander Brodskiy

Alexander Brodskiy has over 20 years of experience in the IT and automation industry. Alexander began their career in 2000 as the Deputy Chief of the Department of Information Technologies, Automation and Telecommunications at Sibneft. In this role, they were responsible for the technical management of a department with more than 200 employees and provided full IT support and development for the Omsk refinery and retail subsidiaries. Alexander also led projects in the development of process control systems for crude oil production and preparation for transportation.

In 2005, they joined Indusoft, Ltd. as a Project Manager and Consultant, working on OSIsoft PI System implementation projects for major oil companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Ukraine. From 2006 to 2010, Alexander worked at TNK-BP as a Project Manager, where they implemented the OSIsoft PI System and Sigmafine for two refineries in Russia and Ukraine.

In 2010, they moved to SAIC as a Consultant and Senior Consultant, working as a Real Time Data Management Consultant on several projects for major oil and gas companies. Alexander was also engaged with a Global Integrated Operations project for a major oil company, where they applied Digital Oilfield knowledge and extended capabilities to cover a wider solution.

From 2011 to 2014, Alexander worked at Wipro Technologies as a Data Architect and Data Modeler, developing enterprise data models for downstream refining technologies. Alexander also developed a methodology and additional tools for the Hierarchical Asset Data Models.

Since 2014, Alexander has worked at Accenture as a Senior Manager and Solution Architect. In this role, they have led a team of 18 people to deliver a complex global analytics solution, collecting data from heterogeneous ERP systems and transforming it to global standards for a unified representation. Alexander has also led a series of improvements and reengineering of Accenture Water Analytics solution based on AWS Cloud.

Most recently, Alexander joined Transpara in 2021 as the Lead Technical Architect, working on an exciting new generation of Transpara Visual Analytics and KPI product.

Alexander Brodskiy's education history includes a degree in Information Technology with a Minor in Economics from the Siberian Business and Information Technology University from 1999 to 2004, and prior to that, a degree in Computer Programming from the Noyabrsk Professional College from 1996 to 1999. Alexander also has several certifications, including TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group obtained in November 2013, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in January 2021, and the Memgraph Graph Modeling Course from Memgraph.
