Alex Anderson has a diverse background in the IT industry. Alex started their career at Blue Chip Data Systems as a Field Engineer, providing onsite support for a high-profile client. Alex then moved on to WDS Global as a Desktop Support Technician, where they gained experience in supporting internal users with software and hardware issues.

Alex then joined WDS, a Xerox Company, working in various roles such as Infrastructure Support and Desktop Support Team Leader. In these positions, they were responsible for managing an upgrade from a legacy Windows Server 2003 domain to Windows Server 2012, as well as leading a team of desktop support technicians.

Afterwards, Alex joined Conduent as an Infrastructure Specialist, where they managed data center equipment, servers, and network tools. Alex also served as the Desktop Support Team Lead, overseeing a team of three engineers and providing desktop support to approximately 1000 users.

More recently, Alex worked at COGECO PEER 1 (UK) LTD. as a Technical Account Manager. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining a holistic view of technical solutions for VIP customers. Alex provided technical issue resolution, advice on cost and performance efficiencies, documentation of environments, and performed service reviews with key stakeholders.

Currently, Alex is working at Transparity as the Head of Support. Since joining in 2017, they have held various roles including SOC Manager, Head of Service Desk, and Escalation and Systems Engineer. Their responsibilities include managing the support team, handling escalations, and ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Throughout their work experience, Alex has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality service to customers.

Alex Anderson completed a BTEC National Diploma in IT Practitioners at Brockenhurst College from 2004 to 2006.
