BJ Hennig, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2002 as the Director of Selection, Learning, & Development at Lincoln Industries, BJ Hennig later became the Human Resources Director/VP at TransPecos Banks from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they worked as an Organizational Development Manager at LyondellBasell from 2012 to 2014. Moving on to Enbridge, BJ Hennig held the positions of Manager Learning & Organizational Development and Director Learning & Organizational Effectiveness. At Enbridge, they were responsible for leadership development, career management, learning, and performance management. BJ Hennig then joined Airgas Merchant Gases in 2017 as the Director of Talent Management & Development, before becoming the SVP & Chief People Officer at TransPecos Banks, SSB in 2020.

BJ Hennig, SPHR, holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton. They also have an MA degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Wright State University. In addition to their formal education, BJ Hennig has obtained several certifications, including Birkman Coaching from Birkman, Change Management from Prosci, DDI Facilitation from DDI | Development Dimensions International, Leadership Architect®, Interview Architect®, Team Architect®, Voices® 360, and Learning Agility® from Korn Ferry, and MBTI from The Myers-Briggs Company. They have also earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from SHRM.
