Omaimah Bamasag

Omaimah Bamasag is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of transportation and information security. Currently serving as a Member of the Global Future Council on the Future of Autonomous Mobility and Deputy of Transport Enablement at the Transport General Authority, Omaimah focuses on enhancing the efficiency of land, maritime, and railway transport sectors in the Kingdom. Involved with the G20 Saudi Secretariat as a member of the T20 Saudi Arabia Task Force on Economy, Employment, and Education in the Digital Age, Omaimah also contributes as a Visiting Researcher and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With a strong background in academic and administrative roles, including positions at the University of Jeddah and King Abdulaziz University, Omaimah holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Manchester, alongside several other degrees that underline a solid foundation in computer science and information security.
