Loren Kaplan

Loren Kaplan has a vast work experience in the field of information technology. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Information Technology at Transportation Insight since March 2021. Prior to this, Loren had a long tenure at UPS where they held the position of Director of Information Systems from December 2001 to March 2021. Loren was responsible for managing the development of reporting and document services, as well as leading the implementation of SAP Business Warehouse and Business Objects. Before UPS, Loren worked as a Consultant at Spire Systems, where they developed enhancements for visibility systems and designed flexible reporting solutions. Additionally, they worked as a Database Systems Manager at Bankserv Inc, overseeing the development and support of Oracle database systems. Loren'scareer started as a Software Engineer at Fritz Companies, where they designed and developed a visibility system and managed reporting systems. Loren also briefly worked as a Museum Scientist at UC Berkeley.

Loren Kaplan pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis, from 1991 to 1994.
