Miles Gordon has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Miles is currently the Owner & Executive Recruiter at Patrice & Associates of Manhattan, where they utilize their entrepreneurial skills and background in counseling to find the ideal candidates for different positions. Prior to this, they were the Founder & Co-Owner of Gotham Swim, a highly rated boutique swim school specializing in teaching individuals of all ages, including those with fear of water or additional support needs.
Miles also worked as a Transworld Business Advisor at Transworld Business Advisors, assisting people in buying, selling, and franchising their businesses. Miles was the Owner of Generations Travel and MMG Consulting Inc., and also served as the Owner/President of Penguin City Swim, where they operated a swim school catering to individuals afraid of water.
Before that, Miles gained experience in property management as a Property Manager for Commercial Real Estate Property Management, where they managed and operated multiple learning centers and subleased space to various businesses.
Miles also owned and directed Generations Achievement Center, a learning center, and served as a Consultant at Athletic Center at St. Bartholomew's Church, where they secured tenants and transformed underutilized spaces into functional facilities.
Miles's work experience dates back to 1987 when they founded Take Me to the Water Swim School, which grew from five to 500 children within three years and rented pool time from exclusive buildings in Manhattan.
Miles Gordon attended Sarah Lawrence College from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Miles then pursued further education at New York University, where they completed a Master of Social Work program from 1984 to 1989, specializing in the field of Social Work.
