Mechanical Engineer / Senior Bridge Inspector at TranSystems

Nitesh Yadav has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Nitesh most recently worked at TranSystems as a Mechanical Engineer and Senior Bridge Inspector. Prior to that, they held positions at Marlin Engineering Inc, where they served as a Lead Mechanical and Electrical Movable Bridge Inspector and Bridge Inspection Team Leader. Nitesh was responsible for inspecting and coordinating inspections of mechanical, electrical, and structural bridges. Nitesh also worked as an Assistant Mechanical Bridge Inspector, participating in safety inspections and processing reports.

Nitesh Yadav completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya from 2009 to 2013. Nitesh then pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida from 2017 to 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Nitesh Yadav obtained several certifications related to bridge inspection and safety. Nitesh obtained the Certified Bridge Inspector certification from the Florida Department of Transportation in October 2021. In the same month, they also acquired the FHWA-NHI-130078 Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges certification and the FHWA-NHI-130087 Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures certification, both from the FHWA National Highway Institute. Furthermore, they obtained the Safety Inspector of In-service Bridges (CBI) certification from the FHWA National Highway Institute in July 2021.

Additionally, Nitesh Yadav acquired certifications such as the Technical seminar - Bridge Life Cycle Cost Saving Through Inspectability Design from WTS International in March 2023, the Fall Protection Competent Person Training from Safety Provisions, Inc in July 2020, and the Mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) and Snooper training A-62 ASPEN certifications from Aspen in March 2020. Nitesh also obtained the Bucket track operator certification from United academy in February 2020. Furthermore, they completed the 10-Hr OSHA Training for the Construction Industry from Osha Outreach Courses in July 2019 and the Prerequisite Assessment for Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges-NHI-130101A from the FHWA National Highway Institute in the same month. Moreover, they acquired the A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations certification from Cornell University in January 2019, and the CPR/AED/First Aid certification from Safety Provisions, Inc in July 2020.
