Robert Mariner has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Robert is currently working as a Federal Grant Project Manager at TranSystems since December 2018. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of RAM Consulting Services starting August 2018.
Robert also worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation for a significant portion of their career. From September 2012 to December 2018, they held the position of Deputy Director in the Office of Infrastructure Finance and Innovation. Before that, they worked as an Urban Transport Advisor from September 2011 to September 2012. Additionally, they served as a Deputy Director and Program Manager from August 2009 to September 2011.
Before joining the U.S. Department of Transportation, Robert worked as an Environmental Program Manager at LMI from January 2008 to August 2009. Robert also gained experience at the U.S. Department of Transportation as a Senior Policy Analyst/Special Assistant from September 2002 to January 2008.
Furthermore, Robert's earlier work experience includes roles such as an Airport Environmental Planner/Project Manager at HNTB from May 1999 to September 2002, an Airport Environmental Planner at URS Corporation from September 1996 to May 1999, and an Environmental Engineer at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. from May 1994 to September 1996.
Robert Mariner has a Master of Arts degree in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics from George Mason University. Robert also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University.
