James Friar P.e.

James Friar, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to engineering and environmental management. James started their career at Valero Energy Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Technician, responsible for maintenance activities, sampling, and managing environmental treatment systems. James then moved on to Delta Environmental, where they served as a Senior Technician, overseeing the treatment of hydrocarbon impacted water, supervising construction contractors, and conducting safety analysis. James joined Merrick & Company as a Process Engineer, taking on the role of Design Representative and leading a team in process design. In their current role at Tranter, they are the Application Sales Manager, responsible for developing heat exchange solutions and enhancing capital sales. Throughout their career, James has consistently demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to safety.

James Friar, P.E. received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tri-State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. During that time, they also took general classes at the University of Indiana South Bend from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, James Friar has obtained certifications such as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Six Sigma US in August 2013 and a Professional Engineer State of NM from the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors in June 2012.
