Bruce Patterson

Bruce Patterson has an extensive career in psychotherapy, serving as an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and therapist since June 1995, and continuing in private practice despite retirement in June 2021. Patterson specializes in EMDR and energy psychologies, offering consultation and training services. In addition to private practice, Patterson has contributed as a volunteer with the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program since 2001 and has held leadership roles, including Director of the HIV/AIDS Hotline at Gay Men's Health Crisis from 1987 to 1997. Educational credentials include a Master's in Social Work with a focus on Group Psychotherapy from Hunter College and a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
