Gary Wong Chi-Him

Gary Wong Chi-him is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in public service and advocacy, currently serving as a Member and Convenor of the Community Participation and Publicity Committee at the Equal Opportunities Commission since May 2019, and as a Non-official Member of the Hong Kong Commission on Children since June 2018. Wong also holds positions on various committees, including the Lump Sum Grant Independent Complaints Handling Committee and the Mainland China Inbound Tour Affairs Committee, while contributing as an author for the South China Morning Post. With a strong background in public affairs and marketing as the Head and Director at Gaw Capital, and involvement in academia as a board member at Lingnan University, Wong’s educational credentials include a PhD in Sociology from Tsinghua University and an MSt in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Oxford.
