Harry Dalgaard III

Director - Regional Cooperative Tourism Program at Travel Oregon

Harry Dalgaard III has worked in the tourism and environmental sectors for over a decade. In 2007, they began their career as a Field Biologist at Turnstone Environmental Consultants. In 2008, they moved on to become the Director of Administration at Sustainable Travel International. The following year, they co-founded Pacific Northwest Vacations and served as their Director of Product Development. In 2012, they joined Travel Oregon as a Destination Development Specialist. In 2015, they were promoted to Director - Regional Cooperative Tourism Program and then to Manager - Regional Cooperative Tourism Program. In 2017, they became a Board Member of the Oregon Timber Trail Alliance, where they volunteer as the Vice President.

Harry Dalgaard III attended three universities between 2002 and 2006, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and two related fields of study. Harry began their studies at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2002 and earned their BS in Environmental Science in 2003. Harry then attended the University of Oregon from 2003 to 2006, earning a BS in Environmental Science and Geography. During this time, they also attended the University of Otago from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a BS in Environmental Science and Ecotourism.
