Estefania Alvarez

Estefania Alvarez is an experienced professional with a strong background in community engagement and funder relations. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at Travel Portland since July 2022, Estefania oversees tourism sector stakeholder initiatives and serves as a liaison between departments and stakeholders. Previously held the position of Funder Relations Officer at Adelante Mujeres, where responsibilities included forging long-term partnerships and securing funding. Estefania also has experience as a Travel Consultant at Avanti Destinations, providing luxury travel consultation, and served as a Program Assistant at the ASPCA. Estefania holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts for Transfer in Communication and Media Studies from Citrus College.
