Ivana Lee

Ivana Lee has been working in the software engineering field since 2019. Ivana began their career at Rose Rocket as a Junior Software Engineer, where they updated and maintained Platform REST API and related swagger documentation, implemented and maintained analytics reporting using Looker, and contributed to data modelling and API design for multiple product features. Ivana was then promoted to Intermediate Software Engineer, where they optimized existing SQL search queries, reduced testing suite run-time by 5%, and wrote Python and Cypress tests to increase overall test-coverage for the application. In their next role as Software Engineer, they managed a team of two software engineers and ensured all deliverables were completed in a timely manner, coordinated with the product manager to ensure all tickets were fully scoped, and tested cloud development environments to improve the engineering department’s development experience and addressed concerns around development speeds. Finally, they were promoted to Associate Engineer Manager, where they directly managed a team of three engineers to ensure expectations and sprint and quarterly deliverables were met, conducted one on one meetings with supervisees to support them in their work and provide constructive feedback, and contributed to quarterly roadmap planning and oversaw project logistics and resource allocation. Ivana Lee is currently employed at TravelBank as a Software Engineer.

Ivana Lee attended the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2018, where they earned an Honours Bachelor's of Arts. Ivana then attended Lighthouse Labs in 2018 to pursue a field of study in Web Development. Prior to that, Ivana attended The University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2015.
