Ed Kirkwood has extensive work experience in the travel and gaming industry. Ed started their career at TravelCenters of America in 2005, serving as a District Manager of Truck Services. In this role, they managed service operations across six states and achieved an annual EBITDA of over $18 million. Ed also optimized warehouse and inventory management systems and supervised maintenance and repair service operations.

In 2011, Kirkwood was promoted to Vice President at TravelCenters of America. Ed supervised retail store, deli, fuel, and maintenance operations for over 95 locations in 15 states. During their tenure, they grew the business by 75% through strategic acquisitions and conversion of more than 50 locations. Ed also implemented efficient changes that reduced annual expenses by 30% and developed a world-class customer service program called "Daymaker," resulting in the highest customer satisfaction rates in the company.

In 2014, Kirkwood joined TA Travel Centers of America as Vice President, where they directed the daily operations of all gaming locations spread over multiple states. Ed secured millions in annual EBITDA and successfully managed in-store operations and coordination with multiple business units. Ed was responsible for acquisition and compliance with state gaming licenses and regulations. Kirkwood strategically planned and developed new gaming operations, from infrastructure development to casino floor design and advertising campaigns. Ed also implemented programs to accurately track data and updated numerous gaming devices, ensuring continued profitability and consistent growth.

In their most recent role, starting in October 2019, Kirkwood holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at TravelCenters of America, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership in the operations of the company.

Ed Kirkwood holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Liberty University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Logistics Management Professional from the University of California, Riverside and as a Licensed Key Executive from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
