Tyler Madsen

Tyler Madsen has gained significant work experience in various roles and companies. Tyler started their career as an Account Executive at The Campus Special, where they successfully spearheaded sales and development, resulting in $44,000 of sales in 12 weeks. Additionally, they managed a team of 10 individuals for book distribution. Following that, Tyler worked as the First-Year Leadership Institute Coordinator at the Office of Leadership Education and Development - University of Minnesota, where they coordinated a 10-week program aimed at enhancing leadership skills in first-year students. During their time at Merkle | RKG, Tyler served as an SEO Specialist and later as a Senior SEO Specialist, managing client relationships and providing strategy for Fortune 500 companies. Tyler also led trainings, developed internal processes, and worked with Google Search Console data. Tyler then joined Merkle as a Senior Software Engineer, progressing from Junior Software Engineer and gaining expertise in software development. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism - Professional Strategic Communications at the University of Minnesota from 2009 to 2013. Recently, in 2017 and 2018, Tyler attended the Turing School of Software & Design to study Computer Software Engineering.
