Hannah Thomson

Hannah Thomson has a strong background in human resources, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Hannah started their career at John Lewis Partnership, where they held multiple HR positions, including Head of Group HR Change Programme. Hannah also worked at Avis and Budget UK as an HR Director, where they played a crucial role in a turnaround strategy. Hannah later joined Safestore Holdings plc as Group HR Director, responsible for driving growth and implementing talent management strategies. Prior to their current role as Chief People Officer at Travelodge Hotels Limited, Hannah served as an HR Director at Wyevale Garden Centres, leading cultural change initiatives and supporting acquisitions. Throughout their career, Hannah has demonstrated expertise in building strong teams, driving performance, and implementing strategic HR initiatives.

Hannah Thomson received a 1st class BA in Modern history and politics from the University of Westminster in 1994. Hannah then went on to obtain an MA degree in History from the Royal Holloway, University of London in 1996.
