Ken Byrne

Ken Byrne is a legal professional with extensive experience in managing legal functions across multiple regions. Currently serving as Vice President, Legal at Travelport since May 2011, Ken leads a motivated team overseeing legal operations for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. Previous roles at Travelport include Senior Director, Legal and Senior Legal Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed managing commercial contracts and litigation for the subscriber business in Europe. Ken's legal career began with training and qualification as a solicitor at William Fry, followed by a position at O'Donnell Solicitors. Prior to legal roles, Ken held various marketing positions, including Marketing Manager at BT Group and Commercial Marketing Manager at Tesco Ireland, demonstrating a strong foundation in both legal and marketing disciplines. Ken holds a Solicitor qualification from the Law Society of Ireland and degrees from University College Dublin in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business/Commerce.
