James Collins began their professional career in 1999 as a Software Developer at Quidnunc, where they developed commercial websites and provided technical support. In 2003, they moved to Think Publishing Ltd as a Graphic Designer, designing magazines, books and advertisements. From 2007 to 2020, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for clients such as Classic FM, XFM, and Elliott & Thompson. In 2020, they began personal projects, completing Udemy courses in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, After Effects, and motion graphics. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Tred as a Full Stack Developer, working on a mission to help people fight climate change.
James Collins completed a Software Developer Bootcamp at Northcoders from 2020 to 2021. James also completed an NCTJ Magazine Journalism course at Harlow College in 2003. From 1996 to 1999, they attended the University of Nottingham, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Quinton House School from 1992 to 1996.
