Lucie Piouceau has a diverse background in the field of biological research and development. Lucie is currently working as an Analytical Development Engineer at TreeFrog Therapeutics since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Ingénieure d'études at INRAE Plateforme Génome Transcriptome de Bordeaux from October 2020 to May 2021.
Before their current role, Lucie worked at Genomics Medicine Ireland, where they held two positions. Lucie first worked as a Laboratory Technician from June 2018 to April 2019 and then as a Laboratory Scientist from April 2019 to December 2019.
Lucie also has experience as a Research Assistant at Conway Institute - UCD from November 2015 to May 2018.
Furthermore, Lucie gained valuable experience as a Research and Development Engineer at SARL Alcina, a diagnosis laboratory specialized in fungi detection and identification. During their time there from August 2012 to October 2015, they developed DNA-based tests to identify fungi, processed customer requests, and implemented a fungal culture collection.
Earlier in their career, Lucie worked as a Laboratory Technician at Anarev Laboratory from September 2010 to August 2011. Lucie also gained research experience through internships at the French Reference Center of Chlamydia from May 2011 to June 2011 and at the Diagnostic Development Unit from March 2010 to June 2010.
Lucie Piouceau earned a vocational training certificate in Medical Analysis from High School Saint Louis in Bordeaux from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Food and Health Biotechnology at Nantes Université from 2009 to 2010. Lucie then went on to complete a Master's degree in Immunology, Microbiology, and Fungal Biotechnology at Université de Bordeaux from 2011 to 2012.
