Angela Follett, Ph.D.

Angela Follett, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the legal and intellectual property (IP) field. Angela is currently Senior Director, Legal IP & Contract Operations, IP at Treeline Biosciences, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director of Legal, IP at Treeline Biosciences from June 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Treeline Biosciences, Angela worked at Fish & Richardson P.C., a global law firm specializing in patent, intellectual property (IP) litigation, and commercial litigation. Angela held the role of Principal from January 2018 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were an Associate from September 2011 to December 2017, and a Technology Specialist from June 2006 to August 2011.

Through their various roles, Angela has developed a strong expertise in IP law and has gained valuable experience in both legal strategy and operations. Their diverse background and extensive experience make their a highly qualified professional in the field.

Angela Follett, Ph.D., obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College from 1997 to 2001. Angela then pursued further education and completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Minnesota from 2001 to 2006. Afterward, they attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law from 2008 to 2011 and earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, specializing in Law.
