Matthew O'Brien

Matthew O'Brien has extensive work experience in the field of scientific operations and engineering. Matthew is currently working as the Senior Director of Scientific Operations at Treeline Biosciences since May 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), including Head of Cambridge Lab Service Operations from August 2015 to May 2021 and Associate Director of Scientific Operations from May 2012 to August 2015. Matthew also served as the Lab Automation Engineering Manager at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from July 2007 to May 2012. Before joining Novartis, Matthew worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at PerkinElmer Optoelectronics from May 2004 to June 2007. Matthew also gained engineering experience at ArQule as an Engineer III from 2003 to 2004. Matthew's career began at Agfa as a Manufacturing Engineer from August 1997 to December 2003.

Matthew O'Brien obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
