Catherine Horan

Catherine Horan is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Fundraising at Trees for Cities since September 2023, Catherine has previously held significant positions at CDP from July 2019 to September 2023, where roles included Associate Director of Global Philanthropy and Global Development Team Lead for Trusts & Foundations. Prior to this, Catherine worked at WaterAid as a Senior Trust Manager and held various roles at ActionAid, including Proposal Writer and Grant Manager. Additional experience includes major grants management at Womankind Worldwide and trustee responsibilities at Reignite Action for Development. Catherine began a career in fundraising with positions at I CAN and Equal Justice Works. Academically, Catherine holds an MSc in Food and Nutrition Policy from City, University of London and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University.
