Catherine Walker

Catherine Walker is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Urban Forest Coordinator at Trees for Cities, a position held since October 2023, previously also working as a Community Engagement Coordinator. Catherine's prior roles include Data and Software Analyst at Scriptoria Sustainable Development Solutions, where effective communication with software users and developers was central to producing reliable solutions, and a Postgraduate Researcher focusing on UK Woodland Biodiversity at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. Additional experience includes volunteer work in woodland management, research internships, and committee involvement with ecological organizations. Catherine holds an MSc in Applied Data Science and Statistics and a BSc in Conservation Biology and Ecology, both obtained from the University of Exeter.
