Peter Garcia

Peter Garcia is currently the New York City Portfolio Manager at Treetop Companies. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and Managing Member of JMP Properties, LLC from January 1996 to August 2011. There, they were responsible for the acquisition and sale of over 50 multifamily buildings, procuring private equity financing and bank financing, and managing a staff of over 50 people.

Before JMP Properties, Garcia was the Co-Founder and CEO of Illinois Public Auto Auction from November 1992 to March 1995. Peter managed the operations of a public automobile auction in downtown Chicago that sold an average of 150 cars per week. The business was sold to an external buyer in 1995.

Garcia's first venture was Garcia, Sulton Advertising, which they co-founded in May 1983 and managed until September 1992 when they successfully sold the agency.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Garcia worked as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble from June 1978 to April 1983.

Peter Garcia completed their undergraduate degree at Columbia University in chemical engineering.
