Shahar Pincovici is an experienced agronomist with a strong focus on vegetable cultivation in arid and semi-arid regions. Currently employed at Prospera Technologies since January 2022, Shahar previously served as an agronomist and extension specialist at the FAO from May 2021 to December 2021, and as an agronomist at the Ministry of Agriculture from December 2015 to May 2021. Shahar's early career includes a role as a breeder assistant at Unicom Breeding from 2013 to 2014, where responsibilities included greenhouse management and seed production. Shahar holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture in Dry Lands from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Recognized as a "promising young adult" in agriculture by the Israeli Conference for Agriculture in 2016, Shahar has consistently demonstrated a commitment to supporting farmers and advancing agricultural practices.
