Sophia Chong

Sophia Chong is a product manager at Treez, a position they have held since August 2018. Prior to that, they were a team manager at The Apothecarium from August 2017 to August 2018. From August 2015 to August 2017, they worked as a happiness manager at Getaround. Sophia Chong has also worked as a student assistant to the dean of the School of Education at the University of San Francisco from November 2014 to July 2015 and as a performing arts college and career consultant from October 2013 to July 2015. Sophia began their professional career as a dance shoe fitter/sales associate at San Francisco Dancewear in July 2013.

Sophia Chong attended the University of San Francisco, where they received their Bachelor's Degree in Theirtory. Sophia then went on to study General Studies at UC Berkeley Extension. After that, they completed Master's-level coursework in Organization Development and Change at Penn State University. Finally, they completed Master's-level coursework in Education at the University of San Francisco. Sophia is also certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and by The Bar Method as a Certified Instructor. In addition, they have Basic and Advanced Certifications from Oaksterdam University.

Sophia Chong works with Richard Thorne - Product Manager, Payments and Subscriptions, Seth Gilligan - Head of Supply Chain, and Scott Thacher - Sr. Technical Product Manager. Sophia Chong reports to Steve Fangman, Sr. Director, Product Management.
