Steve Malchow has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Steve started their career at Marquip Inc, where they worked as a Draftsman and gained experience in detail drafting, quality control, PLC programming, and design work. After graduating from college, they joined Lyco Manufacturing, specializing in developing custom OE equipment for the food processing industry. Steve quickly progressed from a junior engineer to the position of Chief Engineer and eventually became the Engineering and R&D Manager. Steve then joined Schenck AccuRate as the Engineering Manager for Custom Products, where they led the customs division, providing unique system solutions for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Steve subsequently joined Trek Bicycle Corporation as the VP of Operations, Engineering, and Sourcing, overseeing a global development organization and leading the company's focus on providing the best cycling experiences for customers through innovative products.

Steve Malchow attended Freedom High School from 1984 to 1987 and earned a degree in General studies. Steve then enrolled in Herzing Institute from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics and Mechanical Design. Later on, from 1998 to 2000, Steve returned to Herzing Institute and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
