Michael Ratch

Michael Ratch has had a long and varied career in the field of project management and change management. Michael began their career in 2005 as a Professional Project Manager and Change Manager at MKR Consulting. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Project Management Consultant for Family Insurance Solutions, Royal & SunAlliance, FORREX, and Vancouver Coastal Health. Michael also worked as a Health Informatics Analyst for Interior Health Authority from 2005-2007. In 2008, they joined The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Project Manager, where they led a cross-studio team to develop a portfolio of Mobile apps and expand the accessibility of Disney's Club Penguin franchise. In 2013, they moved to Hyper Hippo Games as the Director of Operations and in 2020, they became the COO of Trellis Social Enterprise Inc.

Michael Ratch has a diverse education background. Michael has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University College of the Cariboo in 1994-1998, a Diploma in Computer Systems: Operations and Management from The University College of the Cariboo in 1998-2000, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Athabasca University in 2003-2008. Michael also has several certificates in related fields, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2005, a Logic Models from the Canadian Evaluation Society in 2005, a Facilitating Collaborative Process Improvement from Resource Advantage in 2006, a Facilitation for Project Managers from Interthink in 2007, a Change Management Professional from Prosci in 2008, an Achieving Project Management Excellence from the International Institute for Learning in 2009, and a ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in 2010.
