Ali Foley Shenk, ELS

Ali Foley Shenk, ELS has a diverse work experience in medical editing, writing, and project management. Currently, Ali works as a Medical Editor and Writer at TREND Community, where they contribute to various written materials related to rare diseases. Prior to this, Ali served as a Senior Medical Editor at Dragonfly Editorial, where they oversaw the copyediting process and provided feedback to the editing team. In addition, Ali has worked as an Independent Copyeditor since 2010. Earlier in their career, Ali owned and managed a blog called Diving Into the Waves, and also served as the President and Founder of a company called You're Beautiful.

Ali Foley Shenk, ELS earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Magna Cum Laude degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development from Boston College in the years 1999 to 2003. After this, Ali Foley Shenk went on to further their education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy from 2006 to 2009.
