Marco Balduzzi

Marco Balduzzi, Ph.D., is a highly experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity with a strong background in both research and engineering. As the Technical Research Lead at Trend Micro since April 2012, Marco drives innovative research initiatives and internal engineering projects aimed at enhancing user protection. Prior to this, Marco served as a Senior Security Researcher with Trend Micro's Forward Looking-Threat Research team for nearly a decade. In 2017, Marco co-founded and became President of Berghem-in-the-Middle & No Hat, which leads the largest annual cybersecurity conference in Italy. Marco's extensive experience includes senior roles at iSecLab, BMC Software, SAP Labs France, and various consulting positions, all focused on security research and implementation. Marco holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Systems Security from EURECOM and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Bergamo.
