Ievgen Sliusar

Ievgen Sliusar has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in the field of computer engineering and software development. Ievgen started their career as a Computer Programmer at Joint-venture "Meta" where they developed font conversion software and customized rasterized fonts. Ievgen later worked at Neways Russia Inc. as a Computer Programmer, where they developed a sales automation client/server software suite.

In 2008, Ievgen joined the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics as a Senior Engineer at the Grid Computing Lab. Ievgen installed, configured, and maintained various Grid Middleware on HPC Clusters, along with software maintenance of HPC Cluster worker and service nodes.

From 2014 to 2016, they worked at RTV Group as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.

In 2016, Ievgen joined Verne-AI as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the DevOps and software maintenance of a Python-based NLU AI SaaS product. Ievgen also handled cloud environment operations in Amazon AWS.

From 2018 to 2020, Ievgen worked at Dynamic AI56 as a Cloud Architect and Principal Software Engineer.

Since 2020, they have been working at Tresio as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on the automation of deployment and testing, as well as services infrastructure maintenance.

In addition to their industry experience, Ievgen also worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Ievgen taught various courses on High-performance Computing, Networking Technologies, and Systems Administration. Ievgen also served as a Research Engineer at the Parallel Computing Lab, where they assisted researchers in running computations on the university's HPC cluster and maintained the hardware and software of the cluster.

Throughout their career, Ievgen has showcased expertise in software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and HPC clusters.

Ievgen Sliusar completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Systems and Components from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Master's degree in Radiophysics and Electronics from the same university.
