Maria Ilona Horvath has a strong background in UX research and design. Maria Ilona is currently working at Tresorit as a Senior UX Researcher since August 2022 and is also the UX Research Team Lead since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Shapr3D as a User Research Lead from October 2021 to July 2022, and as a UX Researcher from June 2021 to July 2022. Before that, they worked at UX studio as a UX Researcher from August 2018 to May 2021. Maria started their career as a Design Research Intern at Mirabeau from October 2017 to March 2018.
Maria Ilona Horvath completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Eötvös Loránd University between 2012 and 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology at the same university from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Master's degree in Arts, Culture, and Society in 2018. Currently, Maria is enrolled at Eötvös Loránd University, working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Interdisciplinary Social Research, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023.
